The Architecting on AWS course is designed for architects, engineers and developers wishing to master AWS architecture. It teaches how to design resilient, secure and available solutions, following the best practices of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Modules cover key topics such as security, networking, compute, storage, databases, monitoring, automation, and serverless architecture. At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to put these concepts into practice by building a cloud solution.

  • Discuss the ways in which AWS edge services address latency and security
  • Explore AWS backup, recovery solutions, and best practices to ensure resiliency and business continuity

Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have:

  • Completed AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, or AWS Technical Essentials
  • Working knowledge of distributed systems
  • Familiarity with general networking concepts
  • Familiarity with IP addressing
  • Working knowledge of multi-tier architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts
