TeamWork did a 6-month project for one of the leaders in the dairy products industry in the world. Although the project is completed, our 24/7 support service is still active to this day. With a global revenue of 20+ billion euros in 2021 and 75,000+ employees worldwide, TeamWork has brought its expertise through two of its portfolio solutions: Technology Platforms and Global Delivery Center.
Context & challenges:
Our client acquired a food subsidiary from a competitor and needed to deploy new SAP servers for that acquisition. TeamWork US handled building the new infrastructure, installing the SAP landscapes, and offering 24/7 environment support.
The supply chain delays were a big challenge at the time of the project, as it was important to get the hardware delivered on time and meet tight deadlines. TeamWork, through its IBM partnership, was able to provide the servers and storage on time for the SAP technical installation.
Approach & key success factors:
The main strength and added value of TeamWork was our ability to provide services in all areas, from hardware sizing and installation, operating systems and high-availability configuration, SAP technical installation, and data migration, to 24/7 support for the solution.
Our pre-existing relationship with our customer’s subsidiary in Europe helped facilitate communications and design decisions with the US entity, maintain a consistent environment across the board, and help the project run smoothly.
Benefits
Because TeamWork is a worldwide company, our teams support our client’s new SAP systems 24/7 and ensure they are always available and performing as expected. This company can now benefit from this reorganization of SAP and infrastructure standards, which is necessary to operate efficiently and with capacity for the next five years.
